Here are the latest Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Watch 5 launch plans and colours from Samsung.

Even though it's just June, you're probably not surprised to learn that Samsung has begun Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 software development and mass production ahead of the two devices' highly anticipated combined formal introduction in August.

That very probably indicates the world's largest smartphone manufacturer has firm plans for when said launch event will take place and when its two next-generation foldables will go on sale globally.

While plans may alter as we move closer to the Unpacked date, due to factors such as component yields and quality testing, it should come as no surprise that Samsung's current release timeline has just been revealed by Jon.

Save the dates of August 10 and August 26.

Front Page Tech, the self-proclaimed creator of "dumb videos for smart people" on YouTube, is back to doing what he does best... second best, "dumping" on Twitter not only the purported announcement and launch dates of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4, but also the same timeline for the Galaxy Watch 5 family and all the colour options for all of these devices.

That's a lot of inside knowledge, and while every detail should be handled with caution for the time being, we wouldn't be shocked if the entire tale came to light in August (give or take a few days and one or two colour names).

As a result, it makes perfect sense for the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Watch 5 Pro to be unveiled and available for pre-order in the United States on August 10, 2022, ahead of a real "launch" on August 26. The is, of course, the last Thursday of the month, and the forebears to these bad boys were commercially released on August 27, 2021, which was also the last Thursday of that month.

Still, nothing is set in stone, so just to be safe, consider the potential that this plan will be amended until the very last minute, based on how smoothly manufacturing progresses and initial worldwide demand.

What to anticipate in terms of colour

When we combine what Jon Prosser predicts today with what industry expert Ross Young tweeted a little more than a month ago, we get a fairly intriguing and decidedly complicated Both the Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4 have chromatic equations.

Essentially, "phantom black" and beige appear to be safe bets for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 powerhouse, which may also arrive in an undeniably eye-catching green flavour (according to Prosser) and a probably more dull grey shade (as per Ross Young).

Meanwhile, both sources predict the Z Flip 4 to be painted in a total of four colours, which, while being referred to differently, are most likely the same four hues. We're talking graphite (or grey), "bora purple" (aka light violet), pink gold (or just gold), and, finally, blue/light blue.

The Galaxy Watch 5 family is expected to comprise "normal" 40 and 44mm varieties, as well as an extra-large 46mm Pro model to replace the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic... most likely without a convenient rotating bezel.

If Prosser's information is correct, all three variants will be available in phantom black and silver paint treatments, with the compact Galaxy Watch 5 also expected to be covered in pink gold and the big non-Pro device appearing in a third colour choice branded "Sapphire" and characterised as "blueish."
